Sterilization indicator tape and label
Definition: Wrinkle paper or label paper as the base material, coated with color-changing ink as sterilization indicator, back coated with pressure sensitive adhesive. The indicating tape used for chemical monitoring outside the pressure steam sterilization package, when reaching certain sterilization conditions 121℃, 20 minutes or 132℃, 3 minutes, the chemical indicating stripe on the back base of wrinkled paper will change from light yellow to black.
1. Used to mark whether the package has been treated by pressure steam sterilization process.
2. If the discoloration is uneven or incomplete, it may indicate that the package has not been sterilized in accordance with the conditions.
3, wrap the parcel (if no sealing tape is used).
4, sterilization information can be recorded (operator, sterilization period, item name, pot, etc.).
Chemical instruction card for plasma sterilization
Definition: rectangular paper structure, printed with thermal dye, composed of card, standard color block and indicator color block. Place the indicator card in the center of the package to be sterilized. After one sterilization cycle, the color depth of the indicator block on the card reaches or is deeper than that of the standard color block, indicating that the required conditions for sterilization have been met; If it is lighter than the standard color block, it indicates that the sterilization requirements are not met. Packages that "do not meet sterilization requirements" should not be used and should be re-sterilized.
1. Used to mark whether the article has been treated by hydrogen peroxide low-temperature plasma sterilization process.
2. If the discoloration is uneven or incomplete, it may indicate that the article has not been sterilized in accordance with the conditions.
3, suitable for low temperature plasma sterilizer.
Chemical monitoring requirements for sterilization quality:
Outside the package: each item to be sterilized should use indicating tape or indicating label outside the package. After one sterilization cycle, observe its color change to indicate whether it has been sterilized;
Inside the bag: use the chemical indicator card and place it in the most difficult part to sterilize. By observing the color change of the chemical indicator, determine whether it meets the sterilization requirements.
In the use of sterile articles, which situations are prohibited:
Exceeds the prescribed period of validity;
Loose packaging or torn fabric;
The cloth is damp, stained, watermarked or waterstained;
Indicates that the tape is not discolored or discolored unevenly;
Sterilization equipment has stains, rust stains;
Doubt about sterilization process and quality.
